After discovering our passion for design, we decided to create a company that helped others display the true meaning behind their businesses.

Our business goal is to help your company craft a unique and compelling image, one that is clear, targeted, and grounded in a solid positioning strategy. We specialise in transforming complex ideas into cohesive brand identities that directly reflect your business’s mission. As an independent design company we are able to bring agency-level design and expertise to the same project that would attract a higher cost elsewhere.

Rachel Okamura
Co-founder & Lead Creative
Meet one of our co-founders, Rachel, a brand and marketing designer with a passion for transforming logos into dynamic visual identities. After completing our associates in pre-engineering, Rachel decided her passion sat in the creative design space. Knowing she wanted to start a design business, she began work experience at a Brisbane based architect, learning the ins and outs of adobe, leading her further into the graphic/digital design field. Co-founding DBS in 2021, Rachel has a passion for logo design & mixed media design with an out of the box approach.
Emma Smith
Co-founder & Lead Creative
Meet Emma, one of our co-founders, a brand and marketing designer with a passion for impactful social media design and digital marketing. After completing an associate degree in pre-engineering, Emma discovered her true calling in the digital design field. With a goal to launch her own design business, she gained valuable experience working with a Brisbane-based architect before transitioning to in-home design with one of Australia’s most renowned kitchen design companies and lead suppliers for The Block. During her time as an in-home designer, Emma developed a deep interest in the digital tools and design stage. Co-founding DBS in 2021, she now has a creative eye for social media design and digital marketing.
