Rachel Okamura

Hi, I’m Rach.
I’m a brand and marketing designer who loves turning ideas into bold, memorable brands that truly reflect the people behind them.
After completing my Associate Degree in Pre-Engineering, I followed my creative side into design, gaining hands-on experience at a Brisbane-based architectural firm where I discovered my love for graphic and digital design.
In 2021, I co-founded Designed by Slade, and I’ve been helping businesses bring their brands to life ever since. I love working with passionate business owners to create thoughtful, creative design that tells their story and makes them proud to show up.

Hi, I’m Emma, one of the co-founders of Designed by Slade, a graphic designer and branding specialist passionate about creating beautiful, meaningful brands.
I began my career with an Associate Degree in Pre-Engineering and industry experience across architectural and in-home design with one of Australia’s leading kitchen design companies and suppliers for The Block.
Since co-founding Designed by Slade in 2021, I’ve found my niche in branding, graphic design, and pattern design.
As both a designer and a mum, I understand the importance of balancing creativity with practicality. I love working with passionate business owners to create designs that not only look incredible but help their businesses grow with confidence.
